I never planned on working with flowers. My background was in graphic design, spending late nights creating brand identities for tech startups. But during a particularly stressful project in 2018, I started buying fresh flowers for my apartment – just to have something alive and colorful in my workspace.

That simple habit changed everything. I began photographing the arrangements I made, experimenting with colors and textures the same way I approached visual design projects. When friends started asking me to create centerpieces for their dinner parties, I realized I'd stumbled onto something special.

My path here was completely different. I spent five years managing logistics for a wedding planning company in Baku, dealing with vendors, timelines, and the thousand tiny details that make events either memorable or disasters. I loved the problem-solving aspect, but I wanted something more hands-on.

When Dexter and I met at a local business networking event in early 2020, he was talking about his flower experiments and I immediately saw the operational potential. Within three months, we were testing mobile floral services at small gatherings, learning what worked and what definitely didn't.
